Reports not refreshing
i have a number of reports which have a due date column. the reports are looking at those with a due date in the past or today. They had been working fine but for some reason now if i update the due date in the row and refresh the report nothing changes. i have to log out of smart sheet for the change to be picked up?

You should be able to see the changes after saving them. Be sure to save your sheet after you make edits. Once saved, your report should pick them up right after. Unless they are having issues with their system.

I had a similar problem for awhile this morning with some links not updating as quickly as usual. I got some error flags on a sheet and tried to figure it out for half an hour before going back and looking at the errors again and they were gone even though I had changed nothing. If you report required some links to be updated before they could get into the report this could explain what happened.

I am having this same issue. I refresh the report, save the report, move back to the sheet that pulls the report, refresh the sheet, move back to the report -- not refreshed. If I log out then back in, the report is updated. Why???

Jenn, you should report it to Smartsheet Support. It sounds like something is broken.

Same problem as Jenn , since yesterday the reports are not refreshing , we tried to log out and log back in to "force" the refresh and nothing happened.
Where should I report this situation?

They've changed the help page recently and it's more difficult to find the Contact Us page. While in Smartsheet click on Help in the upper right corner, then on Support Home then Contact us. You select Support from the dropdown list at the top of the form and just go from there.
I've seen enough discussions over the last couple of days to see that there is a problem with updates on reports and probably in other areas. One sheet took over 30 minutes for some links to update for me yesterday.

Thank you. I was able to reach someone today. After our phone call, I received a prompt follow up email. Regarding the reporting issue, I received the following response:
I have logged the report information for my team that is currently looking into this issue. In the meantime, I was able to manually refresh your reports on the backend. If need to us to manually refresh a report associated to your account, let us know and we will be able to trigger that.
I wanted to share for anyone else with the same problem.

I received a notification this morning that Smartsheets is aware of an issue with reports. Perhaps they have already resolved it. Thanks for reporting it!

We're experiencing the same issue. We've tried logging out and even creating brand new reports and nothing gets the updated values off the reports.

I found that someone had Admin access to the sheet and to the workspace. When this was in place the reports would not update. When I changed her to have edit only the the whole workspace and not to the sheet, it worked.
Hope this makes sense and helps, check out your security on workspace and the sheet the reports come from.

Would it be possible for Smartsheet to run a refresh on each sheet that the report is based on?
Like this all referenced sheets would be updated (latest saves and all formulas updated) and reports will be accurate.
My sheets contain formulas, including the TODAY() formula, if it was saved last time last week, all formulas are not updated to today, so all data related to those is wrong and basically report in not accurate.
An automatic background refresh of all sheets (in scope) would be the solution. Of course it would take some time to refresh the report, but it will ensure all formulas to be calculated at the time the report is presented, for all the sheets concerned by the report.
