Communicating "definitions or conventions" SmartSheet
All, I am new to SS. As I post a roadmap in SS I would like to communicate "definitions" in help text or somehow to the viewers of the SS. For example, I will have color flags to provide project status in terms of scope, schedule, cost, etc. How can I help the viewer understand my definitions for green, yellow, red? Wondering if there is help text I can add for each column? Or somewhere insert an object with the definitions?
Thoughts and ideas?

We typically use the first couple rows in your sheet as key to define colors and other aspects of our sheets. We color the background so the rows stand out and they are always there when we open the sheet. It works well for us!

Thank u Greg. Is there a way of configuring help text on the fields? Or inserting a picture?

There is no a way to add help text to a cell/row (besides the discussion column) but they are developing the ability to add images to cells (https://www.smartsheet.com/product-roadmap)
