Conditional Formatting of numbers

Hi. I have been a user of Smartsheet for a number of years, and still the most annoying feature is the limitation of the Conditional Formatting for multiple cells

I have a pretty basic request....

All formatting is based on the value of a cell. 

• If a cell is in a certain range then change the background colour
• If the cell contains a negative number then change font colour to red

I am obviously fine setting the conditional formatting rule for a certain cell/row/column, but to use it other cells then I need to clone the rule.

This takes AGES for sheets with 100s of columns/rows that require the same conditional formatting logic

I second this. I have spent quite a bit of time due creating redundant conditional formatting
