Calendar does not open in current month

Hello everyone,

I have a Smartsheet calendar that has recently started to act a bit funny. It´s nothing major but it gets annoying.

Basically, every time we open the calendar, it shows January 2017, which was when we created that sheet. While it is not a terrible error, it does take time to roll down to the current month, Also, if we switch from another sheet and come back to the calendar, it goes back to Jan 2017.

Is it happening to anyone else? Any tips on how to fix the calendar view into the current month?

Hmmm. Do you have rows that are dated back from that time? If so, have you tried rolling them up into a parent task to hide them? Does that change the Gannt or Calendar chart view if they are rolled up? You might also try archiving anything that is from last year... you can save as new the current sheet and then delete anything from the past. To see if that changes the calendar. I wonder if the calendar is defaulting to the earliest date it sees in your sheet.
