How do you Set-Up Reoccuring Tasks?
Hello!
I am new to Smartsheet and I am trying to take all of my tasks listed in Outlook to form my personal Sheet for my schedule. I have many tasks that I repeat weekly, is there a way to form these in the sheet? I do not want to have to list the tasks every week, I will if I need to but wanted to see if there was a feature I am missing.
Thank you!
April

Here is one solution

1) Build it out a month at time to keep reminders manageable (if you want them) if not make it as big as you want
2) Edit the starting friday in green to change months. you can sav as new to preserve a month, or just delete any checked tasks and start fresh.
3) Edit how many days prior to get a reminder. i.e. 2 for on wednesday.
3) Click a check box when done and you will not get reminders. It changes the reminder date to 1/1/1905 and there was no smart sheet then
4) Make you reminders like so...
The grey background is there for display in the date columns. I would white that out if i was delivering this to users. I would then take away the blank columns seperating stuff.

Another option is to set up a recurring update request for your task. For example, you can set it up to receive an update request for a task every Monday at 8am.

it all still manual right?

Jose, for my method, once you set up the update request, it is all automatic.
