Sending emails via Outlook from Smartsheet

I would like to add my vote to this. We use Google apps and it's very time consuming sending an email, then copying the link in the sent folder and pasting it as a link to a row in Smartsheet. It would be much better to be able to click the cell in Smartsheet which would open up email in Google apps, then the email is filed as an attachment on the relevant row. Other contact managament systems have similar functionality.

Is there an update to this thread?  I'm looking to attach an Outlook email hyperlink in a row.  I'd like it to show up as an attachment or as a link in the cell.
