Is there a way in Card View to change a task to be a sub-task?
These tasks have a lot of data and have auto-numbering. I was hoping I could drop a card onto another to make it a sub-task or use a menu to make it a sub-task but not yet found anything.
There are so many cards involved that it would be time-consuming to rewrite each one as a sub-task.
Any suggestions?
Thank you,
Angie

This appears to only be accomplishable from the Grid view.

How is this done in Grid view? I do not see any option to change one to a sub-task.
Thank you

Hi there. To make a sub-task you have to indent a row under another row... use the icon highlighted in my screenshot.

That did it! Thank you so very much!

You're welcome! Glad I could assist!

In card view if you right click a card you can add a new subtask to that card .... doesn't help if the subtask already exists though
Also, in grid view if you go to the row which is the subtask you can press ctrl-k to indent it to be a subtask of the row above without having to use the icons at the top

Keyboard shortcuts are my HERO.

The problem that I have is that even if Card A (which should be the subtask in Card B) is right below Card B in the card view, when I switch to grid view I have trouble finding both A and B and then I have to move A to be below B. This is a cumbersome and error prone process. I would like a way to add one card to another card as a subtask that doesn't rely on relative position.
