Tagging Discussions and Dashboard Discussions

Is there a way to add Tags to a discussion that will also be searchable?

 

The tags would be separated into 2 categories:

1. Followers: people who should follow,
2. Topics: Just different topics tag

Those users who are in the Follow category will get emails of either changes to the row/discussion/attachments

 

The Dashboard can house an area where new/unread Discussions which the particular user is following.

Currently there isn't a way to add tags to a discussion to be able to search on at a later time, but I'll add your vote for this to our enhancement request list.
