Is there any enhancements on the way to make the report dashboards more configurable. 

Risk Log - highlight report doesn't show the mitigation & when there too much text in a box goes off the page, is there something that can be done? is it possible to adjust the text character limit also?

You can configure a report to narrow down the rows that are being included in the Report builder. 

I'm not sure exactly what you're wanting to show in terms of mitigation, but you might add criteria to your report to include only certain rows in how mitigation will be handled. More on creating reports is available in the help center: https://help.smartsheet.com/articles/522214-creating-reports
