Dynamic Template
I want to create something that is several columns containing data is is continually updated - but only added to, no content is ever deleted. I'm calling this the "template". I'd like to be able to pull the "template data" exactly as it is - format, parent/children, text, etc AND as it changes into other sheets so that these other sheets can have additional columns of information relating to the template data. Cell Linking only seems to work with the original data, but not as things are added without manually linking more cells each time, which sort of defeats the purpose. Ideas?

Hi Nick,
My head hurts slightly from trying to work out what you're after, but I think I have an idea.
What you want to do is use named ranges (look up cross-sheet references) to allow data from the template to be used in other sheets that also contains additional data.
You'd reference all the columns in your template (even if blank) and then create new columns in the additional sheets to house the "template" data.
What you will need to do is some kind of Primary Key to work out which row in the "template" goes with the data in the additional sheets. Something like an auto number, project id or similar would do the job.
Kind regards,
Chris McKay
