Hyperlinks in Reports

Hi,

On the first day of each month, I send a report listing all documents published in the previous month. The report includes hyperlinks to each document's location.

Before the recent Smartsheet changes to reports, I would email the report with the active links; however, the email no longer includes the links.

How can I send an Excel formatted report with active links?

Hi Ginger,

As you've found, there currently isn't a way to make hyperlinks default active when emailing/exporting a report (or sheet) in excel format.

Hyperlinks will export as active if you chose the pdf option instead.

FYI - I have not had success with hyperlinks in pdf format either.

I am not able to print a report where the Hyperlinks are active in the pdf report, just the text. Am I doing something wrong?

Hi vjateafxdotcom,

The ability to maintain hyperlinks upon export was temporarily disabled while we investigated a potential issue, and is now enabled again, and working as expected.

Hyperlinks are still not active when a grid is exported to a PDF. Is the issue still ongoing?

Hyperlinks do not appear to be working in the report itself. I don't need to export but I do need the hyperlinks to appear in the report.

I'm also having problems printing a dashboard to pdf and needing to keep the hyperlinks. Has anyone found a solution?

How to disable popups that obscure my formula?

I am trying to create a workflow and for some reason it gives me an error with the email I entered as the recipient for my Alert. It is an email that I know works, it is shared to the sheet, and the access to the sheet is unrestricted. I am perplexed at what the issue is. Anyone else get this and know what the issue is?
