Linking Cells to a New Sheet -

I was wondering if it was possible to link a cell/row etc and have the column information align and not just copy how it is in a sheet.

For example, when I link the row, the email column in the destination sheet is different to where it is in the original. Is there a way for it to automatically match up?

Hi Alicia,

All of the cell links are purely on the cell level—even if you select all of the cells in a column or row. Currently, sheets don't have insight into the layout (names and positions of columns, number of columns, etc) of other sheets.

When you have a moment, please submit an enhancement request using the form under Quick links on the right to let our Product team know that you'd like to see a cross-sheet row/column sync feature added to Smartsheet.
