Project plan updates and forms

I am using SmartSheet for a project implementation and want to issue alerts using the Forms functionality.  How can I include predecessor information for each of the tasks I want owners to update via Forms?  Currently, I can provide the users with a listing of all tasks, however they may relate to a predecessor task that includes a summary description.  When I send out an alter it is included in the listing they are provided, however each row appears as a separate entry 'form' for users to update when they attempt to submit updates after selecting the Open Update Form link.  Is there another mechanism I should be using?
