Export to Microsoft Project Aplying Filters

Hi All,

I have been trying to set up a report and later on export to Microsoft project, although without too much sucess. The idea is to show only parents rows (project deliverables). The report is for a client which cannot see the full project plan.

Smartsheet seems to always export the full project plan even when filters are applied. Has someone found a solution/workaround for this issue?

Thanks in advance for your help. I am happy to discuss it further if necessary.

    Hi Gabriel,

    Two ways come to mind.

You can cell link or have formulas collect the information in another sheet and export from there or create a report of that information and send it to the client automatically.

You could choose which rows you want to show and select them and copy those to a new sheet.

Would one of these options work for you?

    I hope this helps you!
