Critical Path - Remove a set of tasks from the CP

Does anyone know if it is possible to remove a set of tasks and subtasks from the critical path?  I have a set of tasks that are in my project plan and need to be done after launch but I only want the tasks that get our product launched to be on the critical path, not the post-launch activities.  Please let me know!

Hello,

The Critical Path will always include any and all tasks that can immediately impact the project end date if that task's end date is changed.  The project end date will always be the latest date on your project sheet.

To work around this you can create a separate sheet to track your post-launch tasks and then use a report to make a master Gantt chart: https://www.smartsheet.com/blog/how-to-create-master-gantt-charts

You can also let our product team know that you'd like the ability to remove items from the Critical Path by clicking on the Submit Product Enhancement Request link on the right-side pane of Community pages.
