Hi,
Is there a keyboard shortcut to attach a link in a cell? I know that I can right click on a cell, then click on hyperlink to put in a link. It would be a lot faster if I could just use control K on my keyboard similar to outlook and excel.
Any thoughts?
Hello,
It does not look like there's a shortcut for what you are asking about in regards to adding a hyperlink:

If you do use cell linking from one sheet to another, when you click to cell link you can use CTRL-G to go to the row in the sheet you want to cell link from. This is especially helpful if your sheets have a lot of rows.
it is oddly strange that they can't make a shortcut to add hyperlinks....it is industry standard to use CONTROL-K to insert across multiple platforms (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc) - and I insert Links about 100 times a day on Smartsheet...why on earth can't they give me a simple shortcut?? Drives me crazy.
+1
I made a request for this back in 2017.
CTRL/CMD+K is industry standard for hyperlink.
But in Smartsheet, CTRL/CMD+K indents your row, so it might happen w/o your knowing.
Since CTRL/CMD+"]" also works for indent in Smartsheet, so why not change "K" to be Hyperlink?
Ctrl-K is a standard for hyperlinks. Please add function to smartsheets. Thanks!
Is there a way to revert to the old dashboard look and feel. The new dashboards do not look good at all. There is no way of knowing if there are additional items in the widgets until you scroll over one to learn there is more to it since the vertical bar doesn't show. We have hundreds of dashboards and they will all need…
When i try to send or print the timeline view instead of showing the progression bars like they do on the screen it only send the data entered and not a graph type view to print. Is there a way to do this. I am using a mac platform if that helps.
I have reproduced the following behavior in a validated Smartsheet application. User permission: Editor (not Admin) Row status: Locked (confirmed via row menu displaying "Unlock Row") Text, Date, Contact List, and Checkbox columns cannot be modified. Dropdown List columns remain editable. Selecting a new dropdown value and…
