I am looking for a way to aviod the red man when a task has been completed. In my opinion the red man should disappear as soon as the task has been solved.

The Red man will disappear when the date is in the past as it is intended as a planning aid when resourcing the future. So maybe you have your start and finish date columns linked incorrectly?
