Spreadsheet Pagination or Archive Rows?
pierced

Is there a feature or ability to turn on pagination for a spreadsheet? We have a few that have grown large and having lots of rows load in slows down the page loading and responsiveness.
Ideally this would let you load the first page that shows rows 1-100, then page 2 would be 101-200, and so on.
Anything like this exist in Smartsheet?
If not that, anyone have a suggestion for handling archiving entries older than X days old?

Hello,
There currently isn't a way to paginate a sheet; however, you have a few options here:
- Consider moving certain rows to an archival sheet. You can save your sheet as new to create a copy of it, delete rows from the original sheet, then consider performing weekly "cleanings" to move rows to the archival sheet. This is the best option, as it will increase performance in your sheet and make it easier to navigate.
- You could utilize hierarchy in your sheet to make it easier to collapse rows. This won't solve the performance issues, but it will make your sheet easier to navigate. More in hierarchy in our help center: https://help.smartsheet.com/articles/504734-hierarchy-indenting-outdenting-rows
- Consider breaking your sheet up into multiple, smaller sheets based on similarities. For instance, if your sheet holds multiple projects, then think about splitting them up onto their own project sheets. You can then create a report that aggregates all of this data together as needed. Reports will provide a paginated view for you: https://help.smartsheet.com/articles/522214-creating-reports
- Filters can also make it easier to navigate around a sheet: https://help.smartsheet.com/articles/504659-using-filters-to-show-or-hide-sheet-data
