@Andrée Starå Thanks for your reply. Hope you are well and safe in these very trying times. We are an accounting practice currently using Trello for our workflow management, I have been looking at Smartsheet because initially I liked the easy in which you can swap views (Particularly in the card view). It is important to the team that they can continue to use something that "looks like" trello. We have 4 main workflows that account for the majority of our work for clients - monthly payroll, quarterly VAT Returns, annual accounts (companys), annual accounts and / or personal tax returns for unincorporated businesses.
I am currently trying to workout how a sheet for managing the quarterly VAT return workflows would work. My current challenge is how to make the jobs "recurring". In trello we have a board rule that simply archives the job card when it is marked as complete and creates a copy of the card, with an updated due date, for the next quarter and puts the copy in a column "future". I am investigating how to replicate this in smartsheets and currently failing.

I'm wondering if there is a way to lock rows 1-12 out of the sorting and filtering of a sheet. I might have take out that part of the from otherwise I dont like how the built in dashboard moves when a sort or filter is applied?
