Add "active" email addresses into Dashboard

I have a list of project team members on the Dashboard. Is there a way to show email address that will create an email when "clicked on"?

Hi Royce,

Yes, with an URL shortener like https://bitly.com or https://is.gd

Enter this as the URL to be shortened: mailto:name@domain.com

Copy the shortened URL
right click on the cell where you want to place it in Smartsheet
choose the Hyperlink option and paste the URL
change the name to what you want it to show as on the dashboard.

Nice work-around starting with your original concept.

This feature is one of those "'why haven't they implemented this yet?"

There's plenty of requests where I can rationalize why Smartsheet or another developer has not implemented a widely requested feature, but this is not one of them.

FYI Bitly doesn't allow this anymore. Probably time to add this as a feature.
