When adding a resource (Assigned To) and the % allocation on a task line, with subtasks, why will it not take the allocation percentage?
What formula are you using in the parent row to add the Allocation %, or do you have dependencies enabled in the Gantt View settings?
Thanks for your reply. No formulas. Yes, dependencies are enabled. When I enter a number, it just disappears and doesn't stay in the cell. Any thoughts?
When dependencies are enabled, whatever columns are being used for those dependencies, the parent rows are automatically considered a "summary row" of the children rows. Changes cannot be made to those cells to include using formulas and/or manual entry. Here is a link that should help explain things a little better. It is the page the link in the screenshot below sends you to.

My Smartsheet is generating a document with weird text, see below. This issue happens in both Microsoft edge and google chrome. Can anyone advise?
Hi Smartsheet, What's the current max-cell-count for grid view? Is there an easy way to identify where the sheet is at for cell count? I've asked AI a few times, ways. It's a little confused today. Also did a few count( formulas, but Excel seemed to produce a better assessment. 🤨 Thx, Eric
