When adding a resource (Assigned To) and the % allocation on a task line, with subtasks, why will it not take the allocation percentage?
What formula are you using in the parent row to add the Allocation %, or do you have dependencies enabled in the Gantt View settings?
Thanks for your reply. No formulas. Yes, dependencies are enabled. When I enter a number, it just disappears and doesn't stay in the cell. Any thoughts?
When dependencies are enabled, whatever columns are being used for those dependencies, the parent rows are automatically considered a "summary row" of the children rows. Changes cannot be made to those cells to include using formulas and/or manual entry. Here is a link that should help explain things a little better. Anyway we can make this view only for security purposes? We would like to prevent users from sending responses to other users by accident.
I am currently setting up an automation for people to get notified through their email, when they are prompted. But is there a way that they can reply in the email of a comment that will then go to the specific sheet. This way they do not have access to the sheet, but can just comment through email with updates?
