    Formula 1 in the image is incorrect - it ignores the row with "H"

    I haven't used VLOOKUP since they changed the name. INDEX(...,MATCH()) is the better choice.

    If I have more than a dozen options or so, or if the same options are used on different sheets, I move the table to a new sheet and reference using X-Sheet References.

    I generally do the same. I even have a table that's only 4 rows long on its own sheet simply because my main sheet changes so much.
