Auto populate field on form

I am trying to have a field auto populate in a form, however only a portion of the field will come through. The fields that are linked have several lines of text with skipped lines. Am I missing a simple functionality so that the entire text in that field will come through?

Have you selected that the fields should be multi-line fields in the form set up?

Can you share the sheet/form?

I just tried it myself, and it works for me. Do you have the information in the default value field in the form set up? 

Maybe I misunderstood. Do you want some value to populate from the sheet and change automatically? Unfortunately, that isn't possible.

It sounds to me that you maybe should use update requests instead.
