Is there a way to change the format of the column headers (bold / color etc) either in the report or sheet

Unfortunately, there isn't but if you export to Excel or Google Sheets or similar you can change the format there.

Any update? No answer to Ray's request for an update. Is there a place where we can see requested enhancements by users and the progress Smartsheet has made in accomplishing these requests? I search for items such as how do you add a formula to reports and see many requests going back years but no action. Same for being able to format headers. When you add a report to Dashboard and your headers are not able to be formatted at the Sheet/Report or Dashboard level it gets frustrating.

A while back, Smartsheet removed their public roadmap and more so at the moment the best process is to send in an enhancement request, and the Smartsheet team count the requests and consider that with other information on what to focus on.

It would be great if that enhancement request wasn't a black hole.
This would be a fantastic enhancement. It would help to differentiate types of columns.
I am here searching for comments on this very topic. I am working with our executive leadership team to find the best way to display information in our dashboards and I really wish there was a way to color and center the column headers. I'll be submitting my enhancement request today for this since I think this could really help with the visuals tremendously!

I was here searching for this topic and a way to increase font sizes in the dashboard and column headings in my sheets. I'm here here and new to smartsheets, but I have vision problems and I honestly cannot read the small font on my dashboard. Seems like something simple and seems like it's be requested many times over several years (I sent my request in today). Why don't they consider those with failing sight and those with color blindness? even my phone has instant settings for that.
Why is this basic function still not available? You should be able to edit individual cells to colour, size, formula - anything - the same as excel can. WHY are these basic functions still not available???
Time to find a capable system and pay for that I think.
@Andrée Starå thanks for the link to the form for a product update. Is there a way to search for similar requests and then vote them up, because mine may be explained slightly different as a previous request and they may not be counted as the same enhancement.
