using a calculated number of days in a workdays formula
Hi Im new to smart sheets - so thx for helping newbie
Im trying to drive a planned finish date
i use the workdays formula - grab the planned start date, then try to add the number of days from a calculated field (called Suggested Number of Days) which calculates a number of days based on some inputs (e.g. 100/10 = 10)
but i get the #invalid data type error
however if i enter 10 into the Suggested Number of Days field (no formula), the error is replaced with the correct future date
is there a way to use the "calculated field" in my workday formula

Can you post the two formulas you have?
I assume that Dependencies are off or the [Planned Finish Date] is not one of the Project date fields.

Have you tried working the VALUE function in to ensure the numbers being generated by your Suggested Number of Days formula are actually numbers and not the text string that Smartsheet uses in the background?
