Process Duration
I'm looking to find the change in process duration before and after a process improvement project. I'm asking for the length of 1 unit of work both before and after a process improvement effort (in Hr:Min:Sec.) What I need is the change.
I've tried a simple subtraction formula, but it doesn't seem to be working. Thoughts on how I could do this?
Ex: {Original Takt time} - {Final Takt time} = {Takt time Delta}
(eventually this will be multiplied by total labor costs to come up with a cost savings)

Hi Angela this one is tricky without seeing the sheet you are referencing. Based on the formula it appears that you are subtracting ranges rather than explicit values. As such it will be difficult to make this calculation.
In this case I would use cell links rather than references. Taking this approach should return a value.
Hope this helps.
