Multiple Reports on Dashboard
Anybody have any creative solutions to allow users to toggle between multiple reports on a dashboard?
Essentially I want to have my main Executive Dashboard, with a Report widget that can be updated with various filters - without having to click into the report and change the criteria. I have about 20-25 different 'slices' of data, and it would be ideal to have some sort of "Click here" functionality (directly on the dashboard) to update the report with each of those slices.
Any thoughts? TIA... -Jeff

Hi Jeff,
You could have a master Dashboard/Portal that links to separate reports with the different slices.
Would that work?
Have a fantastic week!

I agree with Andree. That is probably your best solution.

Thanks for the quick response! I considered that option... but eventually decided I want the reports to live in the dashboard, as embedded widgets. So I'm basically making 20 identical copies of the dashboard, with each separate report - so the end user will think it's all contained in the one Executive Dashboard.
I may still try your idea to link to each separate report. But I was really hoping for a better solution than what I'm doing to keep the reports embedded as widgets...

Happy to help!
It sounds to me that you've set up a great solution. I'll get back to you if I come to think about any better way to set it up.

Hi @Andrée Starå,
hope you're well.
I appreciate I'm replying to an old post here, but did you ever come up with a better solution?
My issue is that I have numerous dashboards, feeding from reports that are linked to approximately 80 sheets. If I add a new project, I'm subsequently visiting all these reports to add the new sheet, even if the filtering does not apply at present (in case it does in future).
I'm hoping that there's a simpler option whereby I can add the new sheet to one master report and it then updates that sheet link to all other reports.
Currently I have 1 report with no filters, and then a further 32 with specific filters for different dashboards. Adding that one new sheet to 33 reports is not ideal :D
Cheers, and have a great weekend.
