Hello everyone!
I've checked this page https://www.smartsheet.com/legal/limits-policy
it doesn't show the storage limit not the numbe of sheets limt.
I need to know this because we have hundreds of projects we were planning to put each one in a sheet but if theres a limit to sheets number maybe we would have to groupe projects based on the city.
thank you in advance
Hi,
The limit is 100 sheets per user.
I hope this helps you!
Have a fantastic week!

Hi Andree,
is it 100/user or 300 sheets to share between 3 admin users? I think, that one admin can make more than 100 sheets, but it creates a limit for other two admins.

Hi Med Laz,
For multi-user plans, the total sheet count can be distributed in any way the users wish. For example, a Business-10 plan would have 1,000 sheets available. One user could own all 1,000 sheets, or all 10 users could each own 100. The only number that matters is the total number of sheets owned by the org.

Ian beat me to it!
Yes, it's total for the account.

Hi Ian,
From above example, let's assume, a business 10 plan has created 1000 sheets. Now if org deleted 500 old sheets that is no longer in use. Can org create 500 sheets again?
Hi amkumar@,
Yes, if 500 sheets have been deleted and are no longer in use, then the org would be able to create 500 more sheets. We are looking at the total number of ACTIVE sheets across an org.
If you want to hold on to your data but still archive it to make room for more sheets, this is an old blog post but the concept still applies: https://www.smartsheet.com/blog/tips-support-don’t-delete-archive-your-sheet.
That may help you retain any information you need.
What will happen when the current plan exceeds number of owned sheet? Will we be limited until we either delete # of sheets (or archive sheets) or be forced to upgrade our plan?
Hi @Ann1e
When you reach the top number of sheets your account can own, your account will work without any interruption and all of your current sheets will be available, you just won't be able to create or own any new sheets since your limit is reached. Then if you needed to add a new sheet, yes, you would need to delete an old sheet to create room.
If you're using any of your sheets as a sort of template to copy and create new ones off of, you may want to change this to be an actual Template type of sheet, since this type of file doesn't count towards your limit. You may also want to look into creating Reports instead of separate sheets.
Here's the article on Features by Plan Type. Let me know if you still have questions about this!
Cheers,
Genevieve
Hello, can someone clarify this for me? I see above that the limit is 100 sheets. Then I see later someone said 1,000 sheets. On the pricing page, all 3 plans say "unlimited sheets." What are the various amounts of sheets available?
Hi @AB123
I hope you're well and safe!
It's unlimited for all plans.
I hope that helps!
Be safe and have a fantastic week!

Anyway we can make this view only for security purposes? We would like to prevent users from sending responses to other users by accident.
I am currently setting up an automation for people to get notified through their email, when they are prompted. But is there a way that they can reply in the email of a comment that will then go to the specific sheet. This way they do not have access to the sheet, but can just comment through email with updates?
Is there a way to revert to the old dashboard look and feel. The new dashboards do not look good at all. There is no way of knowing if there are additional items in the widgets until you scroll over one to learn there is more to it since the vertical bar doesn't show. We have hundreds of dashboards and they will all need…
