Does anyone know of issues with setting up "Message Placeholders"?? I followed the steps, refreshed, logged out, then back in but nothing happens. Not sure what Im doing wrong. Ive attached a screenshot.

Yes, I checked the box. saved, refreshed etc. Nothing is happening. So weird:)
...Forgot to mention, I was never able to get it to work for me.
Ok. Begin with checking the permissions in the Alerts & Actions overview (cog up right) and also check your personal settings in Smartsheet General Settings (cog up right in the main window)
If you can share screenshots or the sheet that would be helpful.

I have published a calendar in the past and end users could switch from calendar view to grid view. Has that option been taken away or do I need to re-save it in a new format? I am missing what I circled in the blue.
