How can I push a task to someone else's Google Calendar?
From my understanding, you can't publish particular tasks to a user's calendar. From all I've tested and reviewed you can only sync the whole calendar for the entire sheet. (Someone please correct me if I am wrong.) You are able to publish ical events. But I don't think those are dynamic so if the task date changes then the calendar event won't either.

It could probably be set up with the help of a third-party tool like Zapier or similar.

Anyway we can make this view only for security purposes? We would like to prevent users from sending responses to other users by accident.
I am currently setting up an automation for people to get notified through their email, when they are prompted. But is there a way that they can reply in the email of a comment that will then go to the specific sheet. This way they do not have access to the sheet, but can just comment through email with updates?
