Published Sheets

I understand that Published Sheets are dynamic and will reflect any changes to the sheet.

However, what about in terms of the Project Settings?  We have a published sheet that is displaying on a common monitor.  When the sheet was published, the Timeline Display was set to "Open to today's date".  Since then we have unchecked that and have it opening to the earliest task, however the published sheet is still opening to today's date.

The "Open to today's date" doesn't affect the published sheet.

Maybe there should be a separate setting for published sheets.

I looked into this a little further and found that this is a known issue and has been recorded as a bug. I don’t have an estimated time of when this issue will be resolved, but I’ve logged your case as an instance of this bug.
