Formula Auto populate

Hi,

I am facing a challenge..when I submit a new form the formula is not auto populated in that row..Please advice.

moreever, I am using a IF error formula this does not show blank like its does in Excel

Hi,

It should work but there are some things to consider.

Conditions That Trigger Formula Autofill

You’ll see formulas populate automatically when you type in a newly inserted or blank row that is:

• Directly between two others that contain the same formula in adjacent cells.

• At the very top of the sheet if it’s above two rows that have the same formula in adjacent cells. (This includes rows inserted from a form.)
• Above or below a single row that is between blank rows and has formulas.

Hi,

it's seems in my case that I need to save the sheet (Ctrl+S) after inserting a new row that populate formulas correctly to be able to insert again a new row that populate formulas.

If I don't  save (Ctrl+S) in between adding new row the formulas don't populate.

Do you get the same behaviour ?

Are you inserting empty rows and are you adding something to them before you insert/create the next one?
