Same Varibale Function and having all rows with an entry that have a entry that match being formated
I wondering if there is a way to have conditional formating based on if the variable in a column that is the same as another.
For example.
I want one column to have a decision option. Yes, No.
If its yes, and the Applicant column has the same name in it, all rows with that name will turn to yes in the Decision Colomn
Hope this question makes sense.

I think your requirement is quite achievable using a fairly complex set of formulae rather than Conditional Formatting it is Conditional Logiic.
You need someone who is a real wizz at complex formulas with time to work this through with you. i'll see if one of my (formula wizard) colleagues has a chance to look at this.
