To do list with extended tracking functionality

Hi there!

We are collecting todos in a "topic list" connecting each task to one particular team member. Every task has a due date. Do you have a routine to track the development of these tasks?

I.e. a task has been finished by me but now there are new challenges awaiting the next team member with the same task. I can just add a new task, but then it will no longer be connected to the initial task. Handling the development in the comment field seams too hidden for me. Also I need to give the "developed task a new due date.

Would be great if one of you had a similar challenge and wants to share his approach!

Hi Ruediger,

Three ideas.

1. Multiple due dates (and other cells) for each team member and maybe also specific cells for notes
2. Copy the task in the same sheet to the other team member
3. Copy the task to other team members particular sheet and then collect everything in a report

Can you describe your process in more detail and maybe share the sheet(s) or some screenshots? That would make it easier to help even more.
