Informational Headers

Hello,

Can somebody tell me if it is possible to include an informational header at the top of the sheet. In my case, this could contain the project name, team members/contacts, scope and some basic data. It could even be a text box that sits on top of the cells. I would then start my tasks beneath it. The inability of smartsheets to merge cells makes this a necessity for us. Thanks in advance.

Whay not create yourself a dashboard at the top of the Project Sheet that asks and answers all the essential questions, ignoring the column headers which are for the Actions below. Then using Hierarchy zip that up or open to view as required. 

Alternatively, why not create a Template of those details in Word or Excel add images or links to reesarch etc, then attach that to the Top Row? It works !

Thank you. Sounds like their new Dashboard feature may be what I need. This article said it is coming soon, but it was posted months ago, so I'm not sure.

Actaully we are working on another feature that will allow you to attach project level fields to a sheet (but seperate from the grid columns). These could be used to drive a dashboard, but a dashboard is not required. If you would be interseted in contibuting to the requirements on this please reply and I will reach out directly

This is now available. Click on a column menu and select "Add Column Description" this will allow you to define custom tips for each column.
