Can you formulate status symbols to change based on % numbers in another cell?

    Dee,

     

    Yes you can.

     

    This formula will show a RED status ball when the % Complete in row 23 is less than 50%

     

    =IF([% Complete]23 < 0.5, "Red")

     

    A couple of notes:

    If you want to see the balls instead of the text "Red", set the column type Symbols and choose the type of symbol you want.

    If the cell is formatted as percentage (using the % icon), the value is 0-1 for 0-100%.

    If the cell is just text/numer, then 0-100 is 0-100%. Adjust the formula accordingly.
