Percentage complete issues
Hi have a project plan built out in smartsheet.
The plan has a hierarchy of tasks:
Parent (core deliverable)
Child (task)
Region
When using the percentage complete option, if I add the current completed within the region columns the calculation is incorrect, it will display 0% in the parent line until all companies within the region display 100%. Hard to explain so have added a screenshot as an example.
My question is how I make this accurate with the current setup.
Thanks in advance.

Hi Nick,
What formulas are using for those cells?
Can you describe your process in more detail and maybe share the sheet(s) or some screenshots? That would make it easier to help. (share too, andree@getdone.se)
Have a fantastic week!

Hi Andree,
It looks like it's using '=% Complete column, =avg(children())
I set the percentage complete up via the project settings, I've done nothing else.
I will share with you a watered down/generic project plan which has elements of the original. One parent task, the percentage complete seems to be calculating fine which is odd!

Do you have all of your Start Date/End Date and resulting Duration values populated? See screenshots
