Hello -
Is there a way to sort order of the items that appear in the Favorites section? I don't see the 'Pin to Top' option in Favorites and do not see a way to drag sheets to the top that I would like to appear first.
Thanks!
It doesn't look like it. You could create your own hierarchy though by adding an asterisk (*) to the beginning of the name of your most important sheets.
I'd like to build on this by adding a feature request that a user can drag and drop favorites to put them in a specific order.
Agreed with Hans, simple drag and drop to reorder favorites pinned to the left pane.
This is still an open issue right?
With a dashboard and three link widgets I have built a workaround. In edit mode you can order the elements by drag and drop.
But why would you have to - Really Smartsheet - can you work somewhat harder to make this product usable? It's just so terrible.
The drag-and-drop option to re-sort doesn't seem like it would be too difficult to implement. I'd very much like to be able to reorganize my favorites. Having only the alphabetical list isn't helpful.
I agree, this should be a trivial addition…and until then, it's a glaring deficiency to anyone looking for the feature. This is basic. If the drag and drop is a GUI issue or something, just a set of up and down arrows would do the trick. This seems like low hanging fruit.
I can't believe this request is still unanswered, it has been my biggest bug-bear of the whole system. Surely a drag & drop should be a relatively simple fix?
Until SmartSheet allows a user to organize the favorites list it will remain a confusing product.
If you want to drive adoption, make it EASY to organize and track the sheets.
Any plans to implement this in the near future, SS?

Hi, "Fields marked with an asterisk (*) are required." is the very first line in the body of every form I create. I don't remember seeing it before (unless you missed filling out a required field; then you would see the message). Is there a way to turn it off or change it? None of my forms are in English so the message is…
I have a sheet that I pull into a report. The report I then want to use to make a stacked bar chart and put into a dashboard if I can. The columns I am trying to make into a stacked chart are: Lead, project and phase. The issue is that there are several leads and I need the stacked bar chart to show in different colors for…
I have a dynamic view setup for a dashboard that has NO restrictions And on the Sharing tab, I have a Group that I created as the additional share access to the view But the individuals in the Group still cannot see the data from the dashboard. Am I missing something? Because when I share the view to them individually…
