Summarizing and aggregating for the same code from multiple sheets

Dear Expert,

I have 40 sheets containing following column with example (example for one sheet only):

11MBX21 | AAF | Bearing | 2 | 150 | 300

11MBX22 | AAF | O-ring | 1 | 50 | 50

11MAK10 | BAC | Sensor | 2 | 500 | 1000

11MAD15 | BBA | Switch | 3 | 200 | 600

The same equipment code might be used in other Sheets.

So ... I need to have following one report summary:

Equipment Code | Grand Total Price

AAF | 1500

BAC | 1000

BBA | 8500

Any idea how to achieve this?

Hi Tobin,

There are several ways to set this up.

You could use cross-sheet formulas to collect and sum everything on one master sheet.
You could use cell-linking to collect and sum everything on a master sheet.
You could sum everything on the individual sheets and then report or collect everything on a master sheet.

What would work best for you do you think?

Can you describe your process in more detail and maybe share the sheet(s) or some screenshots? That would make it easier to help. (share too, andree@getdone.se)

Hi Andréé,

Thanks for replying. I attached two screenshots of example sheets we will send to our vendors (one project about 50-70 vendors) and one more sheet (AIC summary sheet).

I want to have report or master sheet like the AIC summary sheet.

I hope this is clear enough.
