Help with formula

I have 3 sheets. 

1. Summary Sheet
2. Sheet 1
3. Sheet 2

I want to take a cell on sheet 1 * cell on sheet 2 and return it to a cell on the summary sheet.

I have done it in the past but something seems to have changed and now I can't figure it out. Should be simple!

There might be an easier way, but you can use a different function, like SUM to reference another sheet:

=SUM({Sheet 1 Range 1}, {Sheet 2 Range 1})

then use those references in your equation:

={Sheet 1 Range 1} * {Sheet 2 Range 1}
