I want to change a sheet name, but it is the source sheet to another sheet with cell links. Does anyone know if the links will break, if the source sheet name is changed?
Thank you,
Bill
I just tested with data that is both cell linked and connected via a cross-sheet formula refrence. In both instances when the referenced sheet was renamed, the data did not break or change.
Thanks Mike,
I'll give it a try.

When I renamed my sheet, the reference in another sheet's formulas still showed the old sheet name.
Hi Jack,
Is it still showing the wrong name?
Have a fantastic week!

Hi Andree,
The old name kept showing up, even after reloading the page, closing the browser and logging back in. I logged a ticket about it but my solution for now was to create a new page with the formulas the reference the one I renamed and delete the other one.
Strange!
Glad you got it working!

Hi everyone, In our project plans, sheet admins are responsible for setting the baseline once the project schedule is finalized. However, this step is occasionally missed, which impacts our schedule variance and reporting. I'm looking for best practices to remind admins to set the baseline via automation Also, is it…
I have a form that others in our organization use to submit projects to my department. How it should work: 1) the form when complete populates a row in the Spreadsheet. 2) automation maps certain fields in the form to a PDF. 3) The new row triggers an email to our department with the PDF attached. This used to work…
