Trying to Clear a "Ball in Court" cell when item is complete
Help!
We are trying to set up a formula to clear the "Ball In Court" when a line is complete. I know that you cannot format a formula in a contact cell, but there has to be a way! It's appearing as though work is still needing done and it is not plausible to remember to clear the cell each time something is complete.
Any suggestions for solutions?

Have you considered creating a Current User report that your users could use for current tasks? You can set up the report and exclude rows that are marked as complete. When you users load their report it will only show them incomplete tasks.

This report that we use this for is actually a published sheet that we send to our vendors each week, so it would be too difficult to set filters for them as there are too many hands/eyes on this that are using it for different reasons.

You could add conditional formatting to turn the text in the cell white... their picture would still appear, and the email would still abide in the column but it would be less visible. You could also dim the whole row or strike it out showing that its completed.
