Performing standard algorithms on % Complete column

Hi, I can't beneath the % Complete column do any standard algorithmic computation e.g. =SUM(bla), =AVG(bla)

In any other column such options are auto-suggested when I start typing. In the % complete column it is not and the commands don't work. Kindly advise.

Hi Walliz,

It probably doesn't work because you are using it as the % Complete column in the project settings.

Hi, not really. If I create a new column and click % in the toolbar the same values are displayed in the column e.g. 0%, 50%, 100% etc. Under this column the formulas work. With the same values in the % Complete column the formulas do not work. Don't know why this is so, or if it intentional?

It's intentional. You can't have formulas in the Projects % Complete column. You could, however, have formulas in another column that reference the % Complete column.
