%Complete forumla reflective of sub tasks Complete

I am looking for a formula that will help me achieve a percentage complete column that will reflect the number of subtasks complete divided by the number of subtasks.  For example:

 

Parent folder with 3 subtasks

Status of 1 subtask is complete

Percentage complete column will reflect 33 percent complete

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Rich,

Try this.

In my example, I've added the formula in the parent cell of the % Complete column.

=COUNTIF(CHILDREN(); "Complete") / COUNT(CHILDREN([Primary Column]@row))   

The same version but with the below changes for your and others convenience.  

=COUNTIF(CHILDREN(), "Complete") / COUNT(CHILDREN([Primary Column]@row))

Depending on your country you’ll need to exchange the comma to a period and the semi-colon to a comma.
