NaN in date field
Hi all.
Last week I added row and entered a date in one cell, using the smartsheet app on my android tablet. I got the usual "Changes to XXX" email and it shows the correct date on the new row, 11/02/16. However, when I looked at the sheet today it shows 09/02/NaN. I was relying on this date to send me an automated email reminding me to follow up. Obviously this email never came through because of the malformed date.
Is this a bug? It's possible I may have changed the date to 9/2/16 after entering it as 11/2/16, but I'm not sure why the NaN appeared.
Thanks in advance for your help.
Alex

Does this happen every time you add a date through the app or did it just happen the one time?

One time so far. Are you able to shed any light on the issue?
Thanks John.

Try this, right click in the cell and select View History.
This will show you all the changes that were made, when they were made, and who made them.
Does the history show the date you added AND the date with NaN? Look at the times, when was the NaN change made in relation to to you adding the orginal date? This can help narrow down a possible cause.

Thanks John.

Hmmm interesting. You might try reaching out to support and see if they have a suggestion. Or wait and see if it happens again then reach out to them.
