date formulas
i'm looking for a way to add due dates.
for example,
i need the concept review 1 to be about 12 business days after after kick off
the concept review to be about 4 business days after concept review 1
concepts to product marketing to be 2 business days after the concept review
so on and so forth.
but i'm getting all kinds of errors when i try in smart sheet. especially #unpareseable
please help!

Right click on your primary column header and select Project Settings. Enable dependencies. This will add a Predecessors and a Duration columns. This should take care of what you are trying to accomplish. See screenshot.
-
Then for each row you can make it dependent on another row and add lag time however you see fit.

thank you so much
i'm clicking my columns but i don't see a project settings. (sorry new to mac) is there another way for me to access the settings?
-
You have to right click on the column header (see screenshot).
-
this is what i see when i click:
i don't have the same options you're showing
-
it looks like you clicked on the Edit Column Properties link (The one at the bottom of my screenshot). Are you the admin on the account? Did you accidentally double click? You should right-click on the header.
-
i'm the admin and i probably did double click - it's a mac so there is no right click per say. i've been right, left, double clicking in the header and i still just don't see the options you see.

Hi,
To right click on a mac you either CTRL+Click or tap/click with two fingers on the mousepad. It depends on your settings.
Did it work?
Have a fantastic week!

Try using a two-finger click. I am on a Macbook pro. I assume you are trying to use the touchpad?
