I'm looking for a time tracking solution for field employees that integrates with Smartsheet. In our organization we have a master project list sheet that compiles project data for all of our active projects. Our field installers are currently logging their time using T Sheets, they're clocking in/out as well as selecting job codes and tasks throughout the day. We're currently running reports in T Sheets then manually entering the data from those reports into our master project Smartsheet. I'd like to either integrate T Sheets into this Smartsheet where the time logged for each project/task updates those cells for that project. In a perfect world we would also have T Sheets import the list of current projects from the project name column on the master project Smartsheet. I know that both platforms have open APIs but where should I start to make something like this a reality? We are open to switching to a different time tracking platform if it means easier integration with Smartsheet.
