Desktop install of Outlook 2016

I have Microsoft Office 2016 - a desktop version installed on my Surface 4 Pro.  I attempted to download the Smartsheet Plugin and it opened what appears to be another version of Outlook, one that may be available with the Windows 10 or something online.  Is there a way to set this up directly to the desktop version??

    In looking at our support queue, it looks like you wrote into us through that channel as well. I see that someone is working with you. This will be the best approach to troubleshoot the issue. Please keep an eye out for correspondence through that channel.
