Exporting to Excel not working with IE

I am trying to export a sheet to excel using IE and selecting Export to Excel. When clicking on that option it there is no indication of any activity and checking the download folder, there are no files there. Could this be a security setting by the company on IE? Could the file be going somewhere else?

You on IE 11? I believe stopped supporting anything lower than IE 11 since IE10 has been kicked out of Microsoft's support schedule in Jan.

I sometimes use SS on IE 11 and have found that not all functionality is there. Usually, then, I will use SS with Chrome and experience no problems.

It could be a specific security issue/setting in IE. I would first check your downloads folder to see if it was downloaded and you just were not notified with a message that it was.

Also try using a different browser, such as Chrome. This will help determine if it is a browser issue or not.
