Smartsheet for Microsoft Teams: Send Alerts to a Teams Channel
We're excited to announce new capabilities to our Teams Integration. You can now send an alert to your Teams channel to let colleagues know of important changes of your work tracked in Smartsheet—for example, when an important milestone is met for your team or task becomes unblocked.
To get started: open a sheet and select Alerts and Actions > Send an alert to Microsoft Teams.
- More on building automated alerts and actions to be sent to a Microsoft Teams channel can be found in Automate Your Work With Alerts and Actions.
- More on installing the Smartsheet bot for Microsoft Teams can be found in Integrate Smartsheet With Microsoft Teams.

I am trying to use MS Teams with Smartsheet. The smartsheets pull in OK but when I try to open the tab in MS Teams Smartsheet will not pull up. I get a message asking if I want to close the page.

Hello—
Please contact our Support team to troubleshoot this.
-
When sending an alert to a Microsoft Teams channel, is there a way to @mention the channel to draw attention to the alert?
-
The Team Card that is the notification states there were x number of changes - but the link just takes to to the sheet. When you look at the emailed version of alert - the rows that are changed are referenced - am I missing a setting?
Thanks.
